Statement of Faith

God, who is Himself Truth and speaks truth only, has inspired Holy Scripture in order thereby to reveal Himself to lost mankind through Jesus Christ as Creator and Lord, Redeemer and Judge. Holy Scripture is God’s witness to Himself.  “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”(2Tm. 3:16)  *The authority of Scripture is inescapably impaired if this total divine inerrancy is in any way limited or disregarded, or made relative to a view of truth contrary to the Bible’s own; and such lapses bring serious loss to both the individual and the Church.

The Lordship of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, whose substitutionary sacrifice is the sole ground of redemption from sin. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”(Acts 4:12)

The salvation of sinners by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone. We believe Christ died for the sins of the world, and rose again on the third day with the keys of hell and of death.  “He was delivered for our offences and raised again for our justification!”

The unity in the Spirit of all believers, the Church, and the Body of Christ. “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Eph. 4:4)

The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling, and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in every believer.
